so meet my cutie nephew!! we were lucky enough to have him in town for thanksgiving and his first birthday, working out perfectly for some one year pictures. he's grown up so much since last time i had seen him and he is on his way to walking all around and mixing things up a bit for his mom and dad. what a happy boy!
i was so excited when i put this family on my calendar. i went to architecture school with this couple, and i love, love, love seeing them as parents. it had been quite awhile since we had seen each other and i loved seeing how much their little boy has grown up and was super excited to meet their little girl. what a beauty! what was supposed to be a snowy day turned out to be sunny as can be, and i'm so glad we got to catch up!
i've known this mama since living in nashville, and i have loved watching her grow from wife to mommie of two beautiful boys. big brother is just growing up and i couldn't believe how much this little guy has grown since he was a newborn. after fighting off the rain, we managed to grab some images and i'm so glad we did!
as soon as i got out of the car and saw this group, i knew it was going to be good. mom did an awesome job dressing everyone in fun colors and i loved watching the personalities of these kiddos come out as we roamed around. after having to reschedule several times due to rain, we ended up with a gorgeous day for a gorgeous family!
this has been the month for sessions of people that i knew in high school. i love seeing how everyone has changed and catching a glimpse into what's going on in their lives many years later. i met up with this engaged couple and their girls at the family farm where we did everything from chasing cows to feeding sheep. i really had a good time watching this family be in their element, and i even learned a bit about raising sheep. other than stepping in a huge cow patty, i had a blast. that will teach me to wear different shoes next time!
the last time i saw this little guy, he was an itty-bitty newborn. now he's six months old and what a cutie. even though he's grown up quite a bit, i can still see that same little face....only this time he was so full of expression! i also got to spend some time with both sets of grandparents and loved watching everyone love on him and just spend time together as a family. when the session was over, i didn't want to leave. thanks for being so wonderful to be around.
