look who's 1!!

i can't believe this little guy is already 1! his mama called me and asked if i could take some pictures at his birthday party, and i was so excited to be there. we took a few pictures outside before the party started, and then it was party time. this was definitely an elmo party complete with a full size elmo balloon, and it was cracking me up watching the birthday boy drag him around and even tackle him a few times! it was such a big day for him and i'm sure he had a good night's sleep later that night. it was so sweet to see how much he is loved by all his family and a great time was had by all...and thanks for including me on all the fun.

meeting the family

so one of the things that i've been loving about my business that i didn't expect is that it has put me in touch with so many people i knew years ago. this was one of those sessions. i grew up across the street from this mama and i loved, loved, loved seeing her again and meeting her family. her boys were as cute as they could be and i loved catching a glimpse of their little personalities. it was such a treat!

road trip

my family and i took a little road trip to blaine and met up with one of my very best friends. she was in town from colorado visiting her family, and i was so happy we got to spend some time together. i loved seeing her and her little boy, who has the most gorgeous eyes ever...just check out those lashes!! i also hadn't seen the rest of her family in so long, and with so many kids running around, i couldn't resist grabbing my camera. i truly love this family!!

baby makes 4!

last time i met up with this family, they were a family of 3. now, a brand new baby boy makes 4, and i was so excited to meet the new addition. this little guy was 8 days old for his first photo session and what a cutie. i just loved his little face and he really had some sweet expressions....even a few smiles! i also loved seeing how much his big brother had grown up. it's amazing how fast they grow, and i'm so happy to be able to capture moments like these.
