what a difference a year makes!

this was the very first family that i took photos for a little over a year ago when i embarked on this journey. so this session was special for me. i loved seeing how much these kids had grown up and changed. this little boy was still full of life, but this time his big sister was running around right beside him.

workin' the farm

after having to reschedule because of rain, i finally got to meet up with this family. it couldn't have been a more beautiful day....and these kiddos were so sweet! i was blown away by this little boy's imagination. we were workin' the farm, playing with the cows, chickens, roosters, you name it! and his little sister...absolutely beautiful. i just loved the way she followed her big brother around. lots of love and such a sweet family. here's just a few!

everything about this session just fell into place....gorgeous family, awesome location, and just a beautiful evening. i love doing sessions that are comfortable for little ones, and you could just tell how much this little boy loved being in his yard. tons of room to play and run, and let me tell you, he was quick! i really did have fun chasing after him and catching him when i could. and check him out....such a cutie!

this family has been having their pictures made every couple years for years. it's an amazing collection of black and white prints, and i was really excited to be asked to add to the collection. this family couldn't have been any easier to work with and couldn't have been more beautiful!










and i couldn't leave out their dog...miss ruby!

change

so after a little over a year of doing sessions for free, i have decided it's time to start charging a session fee. starting september 1st, sessions will be $50. but....along with this change is some GOOD NEWS!!! if you schedule your session before this date, no matter when the session is(through 2009), the $50 fee will not apply. so...if you are thinking about a session or know anyone that might want a session, schedule now!!

time to play!

every session has a different feel and takes on a life of it's own. this particular session was all about a cutie family with some boys who loved to just have fun. lots of playing ball, riding bikes, and running, running, running!! so full of life and a blast to be around. this little guy definitely kept me on my toes and we all worked up a good sweat keeping up with him!









this makes me just laugh...love his personality!

golf balls & nursery rhymes

this little guy showed up all ready to play with golf balls in hand! i really enjoyed seeing so many different expressions, watching everyone interact, and i loved listening to the family sing nursery rhymes in two different languages. i couldn't stop taking pictures of this little cutie. such a beautiful family with an amazing and powerful story. so glad we took these!
