Maeve Kathleen

Sweet baby GIRL McGlone has arrived! I am so excited to introduce everyone to beautiful Maeve Kathleen. With 3 older brothers, I wanted to make sure that we did this little beauty justice with some delicate, feminine touches in her images. That combined with the fact that Maeve is seriously just a pretty baby girl made for some really sweet images. For those that may not know older brothers Quinn, Brogan, and Declan, they love anything and everything superhero. Annie mentioned wanting to incorporate that into a special sibling shot, and I just love how it turned out. There is no doubt that this little girl will be well protected and taken care of, and I really do look forward to watching the dynamic between all these siblings....now that the McGlone family is complete! :) 7178 7230 7297 7626 7855 7933 6932 6618 6432 6389 6541 6727

Sophia

You may recognize the Preston family from my blog, because not too long ago, I was posting little Anna's newborn pictures! Now I'm excited to introduce the newest addition to the Preston family, baby Sophia! Mom Holly contacted me back in the fall and told me the exciting news that she was expecting baby #3 and it was going to be another girl! With Sophia due on Christmas, we coordinated our holiday schedules and set aside some time to make sure we documented her early on. I had not seen brother John and sister Anna since I took Anna's newborn pictures, and I couldn't believe how much they had grown. When I saw Sophia, she was just as precious as I expected. I always love watching the interaction between siblings, and John and Anna gave their new baby sister some of the sweetest little hugs, kisses, and looks of amazement. Before long, Sophia fell fast asleep and let me work with her for some really sweet individual shots. Richard and Holly, thank you for sharing your new baby girl with me in her first days at home and over the holidays. She is as sweet as she can be, and your family is just beautiful! 0064 9990 9865 0780 0904 1041 0591 1534 1432 1794 1822

big kids

I photograph a lot of families with small children, but it's nice to change things up from time to time with some big kids! This brother and sister duo is Matt and Laura. Their mom Alice contacted me to have some pictures made of the two of them together since Matt was going to be heading off to college. We ended up being able to coordinate schedules while Matt was home for his winter break. Before we started shooting, Alice told me that it had been since Laura was a baby that she had professional pictures taken. There were activity pictures along the way, but it made me so happy to be given the opportunity to take some updated pictures. Matt is studying film and television at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Laura is in the 8th grade and while we were shooting, I got a glimpse of her passion for dance. These were some really neat kids with lots of talent, and I can tell that they have really great things ahead of them. 8683 8832 8864 8895 9006 9155 9272 9372 9681 9691

baby girl Fader...on the way!

I am so happy to start this year's blog posts with a really sweet maternity session! This is Katelyn and Joe. They are expecting a little baby girl in the next couple months, and I was so, so happy when Katelyn contacted me about some maternity pictures. This couple actually lives overseas in Austria, so we planned the session while they were in town visiting family for Christmas. After having just wrapped up my busiest season of the year with getting images edited, clients in to view their collections, and orders placed, it felt so good to get out and shoot. December is always a bit uncertain in terms of weather, but we actually had a beautiful, sunny day to roam the streets of downtown. I had warned these two that I was pretty excited to be shooting, and luckily they let me shoot away. I had them walking all over the place, and we ended the session at the coffee shop downtown where they warmed up with some coffee and hot chocolate. One of the reasons I love maternity sessions is because there is always a genuine excitement surrounding that time in a family's life. All I have to do is be there to capture it, and I love being able to witness it. Katelyn and Joe, I'm so excited for both of you and I can't wait to hear the news of baby girl Fader's arrival! 7021 7136 7441 7549 7484 7860 7711 8405 8549 8452 8575

fun, silly, and sweet

Sometimes I just have a feeling that photographing a family will be fun. That's exactly what I thought before photographing the Sanders family. I knew them just enough to have a sense of the energy they would bring to the shoot, and they brought it. The youngest of these sweet girls, Remmy, was in ECLA at John Adams with my son. I used to always think how spunky, girly, and fun she seemed. Rylie has always been so sweet and patient, especially at times when my son is really eager to play! Jason is so sweet with his girls. I love seeing a dad with his daughters. Sarah has the best laugh that is just infectious, and all of that combined together made for a really fun time. Sarah had told me several times when we talked about a session that they 'don't do posed pictures!' I was totally fine with that, and I love how playful and fun they were to photograph. It was fun, silly, and sweet all wrapped up together. Sarah and Jason, thank you for being willing to wait for me to photograph your family. I love your images and I can't wait for you to see them all! 4372 4500 4617 4668 4839 5139 5227 5372 5701 5838 5923 6036
