surprise!

this session was planned as a surprise for these parent's/grandparent's retirement celebration. everyone came into town and they had no idea. such a sweet surprise and i was happy to be a part of it. after worrying about the weather, we had a break in the rain and were able to head outside. i have known this family since i was young, and it had been years and years since i had seen some of them. it was really fun to be there and see them all happy to be together.

two 2 year olds....almost

the weather couldn't have been more perfect for my session with this cute couple and their 2 girls. one of them just turned 2, and the other is about to have her 2nd birthday, and they couldn't have been any cuter....or more fun! there's nothing like the energy of two 2 year olds to keep me on my toes!

3 months later.....

i absolutely love watching sweet babies grow up. i first met this little guy when he was 3 weeks old, and now 3 months later, what a change! still cute as a button and so full of expression. i loved seeing his sweet smiles, watching him play with his little hands, and react to things around him. such a handsome boy!
