9 months and growing fast!

so here's one of my favorite little guys again...this time 9 months old! still cute as a button, full of expression, and growing fast. he's mastered sitting up since i last saw him and he's starting to walk while holding his parents hands. the change is so fun to see and i've been lucky to see it since he was just a newborn. i can't wait for our 1 year session when little man will be the birthday boy!!

i last saw this family back in the fall when this little man was just starting to walk around still holding his parents hands. now look at him! he was into everything 'boy' from sticks to rocks and i just couldn't believe the change in him. what fun it is for me to see him growing up.

ok...so this family was awesome! i had so much fun being around them and watching them be a family. and these girls...so freakin' adorable! the older sister wants to be an actress and i can totally see it happening. she was ready with her beautiful smile every time i pointed my camera her way...but i still was able to grab some when she wasn't looking. :) and her little sister...what personality! she is a perfect mix of sweetness and spunk with a little bit of sass. i literally couldn't put down my camera!

when this mama contacted me she told me she wanted some pictures of her twin boys taken at their house. she mentioned that they were going to be moving and wanted to remember their house and neighborhood. they have a beautiful house in white city (it's for sale!!) and it was a treat for me to take some photos in a location that has so much meaning to the family. and these boys....how cute! they are identical twins, and i was so happy they were dressed differently so i could tell them apart. i really loved seeing these boys roam around their yard (especially hanging out at the swings) and it was fun catching a glimpse of their personalities.

oh my....this session was fun! after a last minute change of location on my part, i don't think this senior quite knew what to expect. this location isn't for everyone for sure, but i thought this might be the perfect session to try it out. i had us walking through tons of brush, we all got some mosquito bites, and we even saw a snake skin in this barn, but i have to say it was worth it! i LOVE what we came up with. thanks for being up for anything and i can't wait for you to see them all. i had a hard time choosing some 'favs'!
