fun in the mountains

Im so excited to be debuting these sweet kiddos on my blog today.  I have been wishing for an opportunity to photograph Oliver, Margot, and Beatrice for quite some time.  Their mom, Lara, happens to be a very special friend of mine that I have not seen in forever.  Seven or so years since we had seen each other from what we could figure, but regardless, it had been way too long!  The sweet Provencher family lives in Florida, and after too many years gone by, many miles between us, and many children later, we finally decided to make a visit happen.  We were able to spend the week together in Highlands, North Carolina, and of course a photo session was in order.  After seeing pictures of these 3 for years, I knew how gorgeous they were, but I couldn't wait to get to know them a little bit.   Oliver is just so handsome with the most beautiful, long eyelashes.  He can be pretty quiet and reserved at times, but he sure does have a silly side.  Margot has such beautiful, long, dark hair that she so gracefully brushes out of her eyes.  I love the gap in between her teeth and how she loves to have her picture taken.  Beatrice....oh Miss Bea.  I could just eat her up.  She has the most angelic little face but she has so much spunk and fire, and I just adore her!

I have a lot of people ask me what I enjoy photographing the most.  It's a pretty difficult question to answer because I love photographing lots of different subjects, but high on the list is individual shots of children.  I could do it all day.  I love trying to capture the personality of the individual child and just letting them shine in front of the camera.  This was the perfect opportunity to do lots of individual shots and of course we got all three together for some shots.  It proved to be quite entertaining getting this bunch together! :)  Lara....I truly enjoyed our time together and it feels like other than a bit of catching up, we fell right back where we were so many years ago.  Your sweet babies are beyond adorable and here's a few images for you!
